Putting Home Care Within Reach with Competitive Pricing
All of us here at Experienced In Home Care are sensitive to the challenges disabled adults and the elderly face, including their financial restraints. In addition to our competitive pricing and flexible payment options, there are a number of financial assistance programs that can make our in home care services affordable to you or your loved one.
State and Federal In Home Care Assistance
Depending on your age and income level, you may qualify for in home care benefits through a State or Federal assistance program. For example, if you became injured or disabled as a result of an on-the-job accident, you may qualify for Workers Compensation benefits that cover home care services.
Disabled veterans and their spouses may also be eligible for benefits through the Veterans Administration that may cover in home care provided by a Home Health Aide, Nursing Assistant, or Certified Nursing Assistant.
California In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS)
If you are over the age of 65, disabled, or blind, you may also quality for California’s In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program. Through this program, eligible participants can receive payment assistance for an in home care provider. The program covers a variety of home care services, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care services such as assistance with bathing, grooming, bowel and bladder care, and more.
Long-Term Care and Medical Insurance
Because in home care is less costly than that of a hospital or long-term care facility, many medical and long-term care insurance providers are now including in home care services as a covered benefit. If you are unsure about the types of home care benefits your medical insurance or long-term care policy covers, contact your benefits provider.
